Is it normal to not work until age 29?

Seems unusual to me and kind of lazy, what do you think? Just curious. This person had no money so mooched off their parents until age 29 and then their parents finally got on their back about getting a job in which they just started. First job at age 29 and only did one year of college at age 18 and quit as they said it was lame.

What do you think?

If this person's been freeloading for 29 years without a responsibility in the world, he/she is gonna have a rough time when it's finally time to grow up (past due). Please advise this friend/acquaintance not to bring babies into the world.

If this person has a medical condition or circumstance that restricts him/her from working or participating in societal duties, I apologize in advance.

Nope. It's true that building a career these days is difficult, but getting a job isn't. A horrible service job, sure, but I don't know what you'd expect to get with a year of college and no experience.

No, it's not normal for obvious reasons and I can't say I understand it either but to each their own. If their parents let them mooch, they're lucky b*stards.
