Is it normal to not wash hands after going to the bathroom if nobody is around?

Studies have shown that washing hands cuts back on lots of diseases. A lot more people died before doctors realized they should wash their hands and many foodborne illnesses in restaurants have been linked to poor handwashing.

Wow. I wash my hands all the damn time. Sometimes only with water. Anyhoo thats kinda gross. except when your drunk. Only exception.

Hahaha, I love you people. Don't worry, I wash my hands sometimes, and I do use hand sanitizer. I am very much like Mr. Time, in that my immune system is a champ. So unless I see dirt under my nails or there is something visibly/smelly dirty on my hands, I'm fine with not washing my hands. And I promise, if I know I have to shake someones hand, I will wash before. :)

I think it's normal but it's important to wash ur hands because u touch so many dirty things all day and if u don't wash ur hands after u use the restroom u probably won't do it any other time either. So just wash them..it only takes a minute and it could prevent u or someone close to u from getting sick

That's really gross... a lot of illnesses can be created by not washing your hands after using the restroom or handling animals or anything. I carry hand sanitizer around with me just in case. :)

I wash my hands in public places, even if there aren't people there.. But at home, I just use hand-sanitizer most of the time.

I think there's millions of people out there who doesn't wash their hands after they're finished with their nature calls. I'm one of them but yes, i do believe in washing hands afterwards, and I always do if it's a long call. As for the short call, it depends on when was the last time i washed my hands and whether or not it got on my hands/fingers etc.

need to wash your hands i do health and social care at school and we had this light box thing and we put our hands under the light and it showed all the bacteria on our hands and this scratter had millions EWWW and then we washed our hands and did it again then there was still bacteria on peoples hands i cant imagine what all yours look like :L

I only wash my hand if I've taken a crap and right before bed. It's gross, but I personally believe we all need a few germs in our lives.

Why are the sinks installed in public bathrooms?

A, So you can wash your hands if someone is around.
B, So you can wash your hands.

Institutions wouldn't waste their money on sinks if the answer was A. Sinks are there for a reason.

I don't usually wash my hands most of the time. I have one of the strongest immune systems out of all my friends. I never get sick. Viva la germs.

I don't urinate on my hands, so I agree; it's for show more than anything.
