I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the children's laughter remind us of how we used to be.

Whitney Houston is a crackwhore bitch and now found dead laying face down I a ditch. She had a beautiful voice when was was alive but died with a crack pipe in her mouth. And near her death her voice was nothing short of horrendous.

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows if I fail, if I succeed. At least I'll live as I believe ...

I was never really a fan, that's just the first thing that came to mind. She did have a beautiful voice though.

  • It's because they're not old enough to be able to fend for themselves, unlike others who can or had the opportunity to.

    • But their parents will fend for them. And what about when it's seen as worse when a child dies when an adult who is just as defenceless does?

      • Yes but they can't in situations when they're on their own and they have less of a capability to defend themselves and the fact they'd need parents is reason enough. There's also the aspect of innocence.

I treasure them more because they haven't made the same mistakes as us. They're innocent. And for some reason I feel like I'm partly accountable that they don't end up like us.

You sound like you're feeling sorry for yourself.

        • Why not? Ludicrously enough you just accused me of feeling sorry for myself from one question. Would you like to tell me more about myself?

In my not so humble and biased opinion I would surmise that you're jealous of the love, affection, attention and protection that society shows children. You were once a child yourself just like everyone else. I wouldn't be surprised if you've suffered abuse and neglect in your youth which would logically fuel any jealously, because you didn't get what you needed as a child.

            I could be wrong, but...

            • What a wild assumption to make. I'm not bitter, I'm curious. Might there be some projection going on here?
