I'm 18. And I'm not comfortable in shaving down there as I could cut and bleed. Once I did and ended up getting an infection, I think. Because it was scratching down there and it felt good but it hurts.
Meh, I don't shave mine either. I just trim it or leave it natural. I honestly don't see a reason to keep mine hairless.
I shaved once also but now I stick to trimming so I can wear a bathing suit without a stray hair poking out. Also my husband completely cut me off until it grew back because he wants to fu#k a woman, not a little girl.

It's normal , there are plenty of people who do not shave or just do lower maintenance . If you would like to though , try using clippers with a protective guard and then waxing , just make sure the hairs long enough to wax.
