Is it normal to not lose one pound ever with hypothyroidism?

I'm hypothyroid, really hypothyroid and I used to be a size small for as long as I can remember but three years ago, I noticed I was exhausted all the time and that even when I exercised, I didn't lose anything.

Now it's three years later and I gained weight every month since and I'm a size large instead of small. I used to only eat 900 calories a day and that's probably why I was always small and I would exercise at least every other day. Now I am exercising every day and heavier, I am jogging, I am eating only healthy foods, always and cut out bad foods completely from my diet like processed and sugary beverages but nothing seems to change. I have not yet lost a pound and changed my diet strictly 6 months ago. I'm waiting for one pound to come off and instead, I am now three pounds more.

I am seeing a nutritionist and I'm following everything they tell me to eat. I'm even researching constantly and I thought it would help but it doesn't.

I'm so sick of seeing my chunky body as it's not me and people must think I'm just a lazy stupid person but that's not true as I exercise more than any of my friends and they're all stick thin. I'm the fattest of all of them and one of my friends even eats probably 2000 calories or more a day and she is only 100 pounds.

What do I do? I don't want to be labeled as fat and stupid just by someone looking at me and not knowing. is it normal at all??? I feel this isn't.

I'm hypothyroid too. Unfortunately it's more common to put on weight rather than lose it.

    Have you seen an endocrinologist?
