Some people use books purely for decorative purposes. You're kind of normal. I've gone off the deep end buying very old books from around 1880 - 1920. Freaks me out when I open a package containing a rare truly vintage book. The pages have a yellow hue. Such books have a long history. I will mesmerize on the book's characteristics wondering where it traveled before arriving at my door. This is a collectible habit I picked up in college. My school library was huge. I made an attempt to find the oldest books I could check out. Feels really BIZARRE to check out a book with a published date stretching back to 1850.
If you're after classics, ever? Barnes & Noble's Collectible Editions should be in your library.
Here's one I love. It is Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales.

It looks alright to have a couple of books in your appartment, perhaps one day you'll change your mind and start reading them.
