Is it normal to not like any seafood at all?
I find it ironic that the most expensive foods are typically the grossest. Snails, rare mushrooms, and of course, fish. I hate fish. I hate the smell, and every time I eat when I am around it, I feel sick. It makes me feel absolutely nauseated.
Everyone around me however thinks it's the cat's meow. They turn down delicious steak, chicken, and lamb, in favor of something that probably ate your poop (And smells worse, too). And worse, they expect me to do the same. They think I am broken inside because I don't eat fish.
Then they tell me about how people who avoid fish have lower intelligence, even though my IQ is 130. Besides, fish is loaded with mercury. There are no positives to eating it. It's expensive, disgusting, smelly, vile, and loaded with toxins.
Sometimes my nose starts to itch terribly around fish (especially everyone's favorite crab and shrimp), as if I am experiencing an allergic reaction to the smell.
