You don't "make" friends, people just become friends. It happens naturally. Be yourself, be nice to people, and have fun.

I have a hard time making real friends too. People are just so self serving and shitty. Most of them won't hesitate to fuck you over if it benefitted them in some way. Totally jaded on the whole 'new friends' thing, it's just not worth the effort

  • People look like cartoons to me when they're talking, just these big, bright, moving, noisy things.

It's hard to make friends when you're the only person in the world.

  • Im mildly autistic but I make friends easily. Just get out more and talk to people even if you think that they will think what you have to say is stupid.
Lots of people are shy because they are afarid of saying something stupid and want to appear perfect to others. However people will be more comfortable and open in return if you just say whatever comes to your mind because they will realize you are imperfect, just like them, and having that in common will make them want to be friends. A big turn off to new friends is people who are overly needy and get upset when their new friend is too busy to hang out, or they call too much. I usually will distance myself from people if they get too clingy.

      • Why do you think im lying? Maybe my advise doesnt work for employment situations but at social events people are not usually too judgemental. If they are then youre probablly hanging out with a really snobby crowd.

People do not always want to hear what is on your mind. In all things we must keep an appearance. Some things are not appropriate at the wrong time. Some things you should never say to the wrong people. Things are never that simple.
