Is it normal to not get butterflies-in-your-stomach anymore looking at crushes?

So, when I was a younger lad during my teen years, I would get butterflies in my stomach and feelings of *extreme* elation(a really 'high' feeling) just *looking* at someone or just being in their presence. I think that's pretty normal. However, I'm a bit older now (23) and I noticed I haven't had that butterfly feeling ever since about 4 years ago, and the looks of someone alone don't excite me, however I guess you could say I've had *tiny* crushes. Is this normal? I thought the butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling would be persistent for the rest of my life, and its disappearance has frightened me a little.

Its completely normal.i would get butterflies with my girl because things were still new. But now i know i love her but i dont get butterflies. I guess it goes away as you get used to the game. Try something new in a relationship. Get hoocked up an get to know the girl before you see her. Hold out on seeing a picture but text her for about a week. That should get you butterflies.
