Have you ever liked somebody or dated someone who has people they're close to not approve of you, because they don't find you attractive, or smart, or nice, or fun, etc?

    Yup. Happened to me but not too much. Most people close to my ex got along fine with me. But some thought she could do better cause I'm not hugely attractive :\
