Is it normal to not be affectionate, especially around little kids and babies?

I do not enjoy being "around little kids and babies" at all. They smell, they are ugly, they are noisy and they are obnoxious. If they get too close I have an almost uncontrollable urge to make them disappear. Fortunately, they must sense this because they usually run to mommy crying if they get within arm's length. "No, lady, I didn't hit your kid? Why would I; I don't even know the little shit."

The social norm is your suppose to love babies and their always cute. Well I hate babies their pale, smell funny, and always have vomit on their collars. Like me after a night of binge drinking.

Fuck babies.

I think people who overly show emotions and sentimentality are strange. I also think many people do it as an act to get attention.

I have a REALLY hard time comforting people. If someone is crying, it is hard for me to soothe them and hold them. I don't even want to put my hand on them unless it is someone I am romantically involved with...I stand there awkwardly, mainly because when I am upset I want to be left alone and wonder if it would be best if I left them alone as well.
