Is it normal to meet my step brothers (from my father side) after 17 years?

I have a half brother that i've spoken to twice on the phone and never met and another one who i've never spoken with at all, so it's normal for me but still a bit unusual.

My half sister who I hadn't seen since she was five added me on facebook one day. It was fine till she said something I could not agree with at all, so I took her off my friends list.

No skin off either of our noses.

A couple years a go I met my two half brothers from my fathers side. It was very stange for me seeing as I'd never met them before, let alone seen any pictures. At the funeral(Where we met) I was introduced to them and it wall all rather awkward especially since they were in their late 30's-40's and I was still in my teens. However after this brief meeting I never saw them and infact I have not had any contact with them since.

What I'm trying to say is that it will be quite awkward at the time but after you will probably never see them again, so relax, enjoy yourself and above all have fun :)

Uhh... I don't know if it is normal. It doesn't matter anyway, if they don't like you, no big deal. They are still, ultimately strangers and not in your life at all.
