Is it normal to love "the dark knight" particularly the joker character?

I love the Dark Knight, I think it's the best film ever made. Honestly, and especially the Joker character. I was obsessed with him for months. I don't think I ever loved a film as much as I loved the Dark Knight. What did you think of the film.

Isn't that obvious...The Joker(may his soul rest in pieces), appeals to everyone who is just depressed or tired of this modern monotonous rat race we all seem to be in.

I goddamn love that movie.<3 But Jack Nicholson did a great job on the Joker as well! "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

    R.I.P. Heath Ledger

    Oh yeah
"Wanna know how I got these scars?"

The Joker has always been the best antagonist in Batman, from his incarnations in the comics to Heath Ledger's performance in The Dark Knight.

And Heath Ledger did a brilliant job.

But the rest of the film was pretty mediocre. Better than that heap of shit 'Batman Begins', but not by a wide margin. Hate Christian Bale as Batman, hate Hans Zimmer's score.

As to how normal it is for it to be your favourite movie, we all have favourites, taste is subjective and The Dark Knight was very popular. So I'd say it's normal. I in no way share your taste, but hey :)

I've seen the old show, so I do know but would rather I didn't.

I still have a crush on Dr. Jonathan Crane from Batman Begins or rather the actor who who plays him, Cillian Murphy. I feel an awkward sadness about my celebrity crush because my first ex husband looked a lot like that.
    *sighs*

I remember that version of the Joker being "awesome", but I digress. After all, I haven't seen that film in years. I did hate the way Batman talked and how his name had somehow been changed to "The Batman". What a dumb name change.

Also, those people on the ferries could have just jumped off and swam to the shore. Did they have any emergency back-up water craft or flotation devices? How could reputable ferries leave shore without checking for these basic supplies?

I'm a little worried the OP is James Holmes.

The movie was quite convoluted, but I think in a way that's where it's brilliance is.
Christian Bale putting on Batman's voice made me cringe a bit though.

    There have been many concepts of Batman over the years, but my favourite is it's 1966 camp beginnings. Adam West will always be the only Batman in my eyes. Full credit to Nolan and what he did with it, but in the words of his joker character;
    "Whyyyy soooo serrriiooouuusss?"
