Is it normal to love my teacher like a 2nd mother?

I have a teacher that I've known since middle school in the 6th grade. She was very nice and understanding of me. She even took me to places and brought me into her home. I love her so much. She's not only my former teacher; she is also my 2nd mom (to me, anyway). I love both my mothers.

    I had the same situation growing up. I think it is normal. Sometimes you create a bond with an individual even if they are a teacher. She was my kindergarten teacher and she moved up to first grade just so she could be my teacher again. We have always kept in contact her family is like a second family to me.
