Is it normal to love human reactions?

And I’m not really talking about people reacting to a movie trailer, but it also counts if they’re being geninue about it. But I’ve always loved watching chaos, seeing people react to things that shock them with disturbed commentary, or watching someone get so scared they cry.

Or manipulating/toying with someone just to evoke reactions, is it normal that I love reactions so much I’m willing to manipulate others just for them?

    • I’d say some sociopath symptoms fit me, but I also have ADHD and a lot of symptoms are similar side from a manipulative and no empathy (which I have empathy)

Based off of this I can tell that you are probably a psychopath. Psychopaths genuinely love manipulation, feeling powerful, seeing other people in some form of distress, wanted to or causing distress on someone. I suggest you read up on psychopathy and see if it fits you. Speak with a doctor or therapist if you have any concerns that this may be you. It's okay to be a psychopath as long as you control it properly, there is nothing wrong with you.

    • So, according to some site, these are the symptoms of Psychopathy:

Superficial charm and glibness (I’m socially awkward so I wouldn’t say I’ve got any charm)

Inflated sense of self-worth (Definitely don’t have that)

Constant need for stimulation (ADHD makes me have this)

Lying pathologically (I’m more of a habitual liar)

      Conning others; being manipulative (check)

Lack of remorse or guilt (I have alexthymia)

Shallow emotions (not sure can’t tell)

      Callousness; lack of empathy (nope)

Using others (a parasitic lifestyle) (I don’t really use people?)

Poor control over behavior (ADHD/Narcisstic Traits)

      Promiscuous sexual behavior
      (Nope)

      Behavioral problems early in life
(Early in life assumes like toddler baby levels so no)

      Lack of realistic, long-term goals
      (This is true)

      Being impulsive
      (ADHD covers this)

      Being irresponsible
      (Also covers this)

Blaming others and refusing to accept responsibility
      (I blame myself more)

      Having several marital relationships
      (Again social anxiety)

      Delinquency when young
(ADHD causes this, but not criminal levels)

Criminal acts in several realms (criminal versatility)
      (No.)
