Is it normal to lose weight before period?

I don't even know if it's period related but just one week before my period, I noticed I dropped 4 pounds on the scale even though I only cut 250 calories out of my diet each day. Then during my period right now, I'm still 4 pounds lighter and didn't gain anything like I normally do. Normally I'll gain 5 or 6 pounds a few days before my period/during it.

Is this normal? I don't think it could be from just removing 250 cals a day. That would probably take three weeks or more to drop 2 pounds from just cutting 250 a day.

Yes... Your hormones change and you start losing valuable nutrients and minerals that you need. As well as that some women get things like a fever and that could make you sweat a lot. So I dont see how losing weight BEFORE your period would be abnormal.
