Is it normal to lose interest in my boyfriend after realizing i'm bisexual?

I have been with my boyfriend for almost two years now and he is the first boyfriend I've had who I can say I am (was) in love with. A couple months ago I started to realize that I am bisexual. Since then I've been losing interest in him. I hardly want to hang out with him or have sex with him. But I have started fooling around with my best (female) friend. Will I ever regain interest in my boyfriend again? I don't want to lose him.

I think you're past that point and on your way to becoming a lesbian.

lol... Some people arent very helpful... Ever considered that maybe the fact that youre loosing attraction for him has nothing to do with the fact that youre bi? Maybe you just dont like him as a lover/companion and hes just not the one for you. If you fool around with someone else you will likely lose your remaining attraction. If you think you want to be with someone else, maybe you just nee to give him up because it really sounds like your feelings for him just faded with time ..

No its just a new experience. Maybe your bored with your bf and this new experience that happens to be a lesbian experience just got your mind going. So your pushing the old news aside (your bf) see if you can get a 3 sum out the deal

Perhaps it's just *him* you don't want.
If there's a woman you find you like, bring her name up, & if he says “she's hot” etc. jokingly tell him you think so as well. If he doesn't mind, you'll have another shared interest! Great!
