    What do you mean by fake materialistic nature?
    If you are in a relationship with someone you should know her core beliefs and everything about her. It is normal to want to know everything about the other partner,spouse.
    If you have someone that loves you and is very honest then you should be with her as well. I always want to know everything about someone whether good or bad.
