Is it normal to long for the super sex i had with an ex partner?

The question is in the heading. Anyone else been in this situation? I had a partner who I lived with for about a year and a half , a long time ago. We had an excellent sex life - we had super sex. I won't go into whet that entails because I don't want to over excite the kids and trolls on here.

Anyway since this partner , who I don't long for in other ways and not even sexually really, I have never had sex like we had or even seen the like on porno!(there was something my partner would do during intercourse that I won't go into because of dirty little trolls).
I will point out, before anyone says I hav'nt had much experience since , that since then I have had partners for all over the world (none of these were shrinking violets ) and all ages(all 18 or more) from half my age at the time till twice my age at the time.
Also I have been with professionals and they never came close, I have also lived with several other partners .We are both multi orgasmic , looking back now after writing this that may have helped alot in making our sex life high frequency and highly satisfying.
