Is it normal to listen to the same song 30+ times a day for 2 years now?

The song is Haunted by Taylor Swift and its fucking great. When I work out which is 13 times a week, I will frequently just set it on repeat for an hour or more. Is anyone else this obsessed with one song? What does 'normal' music prefetences look like anyways?

how could one not get tired of a song after so many listens?
I mean there are songs and albums that I still enjoy after almost 40 years but I sure do not listen to them daily or even weekly.

I am not into Taylor swift but cannot really say anything cause one of my favorite albums over my lifetime is Linda Rondstadt's "Mad love". Nothing ground breaking about it, i just grew up with it.
My fav song of it is Justine - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4TixQIIZ00

I guess my equally guilty pleasure to your T.S. is I like Taylor Dayne's song "love will bring you back". The millenials cannot really laugh at Dayne though cause they do not know just how tacky it is to like her music.

I will check out that album on spotify and get back to ya, I'm always looking for new music.

My other two big favorites for music are Halsey and Lana del Rey. Halsey is actually my favorite overall with so many good workout songs, I would definently check her out if you haven't already.

I mean I have got sick of a lot of other songs, so its a little weird even for me. My workout music has been about the same for years tho its the other music that shifts more.

But yeah when people see me they would never guess in a million years that I like taylor swift. When people think of tyalor swift fans they think of 13 year old girls, not 6'4" 245 guys who had to move up a size in underwear because their quads got to big lol.

  • I just said "not normal" because it seems weird that you haven't gotten tired of it by now. Nothing wrong with that though. My life would be that much more fun if I didn't get burned out on songs after a week.

Yeah I figured it was weird. I have gotten sick of most of my other songs to some extent, but for whatever reason not this one. I still get excited to play it each day!

She lost the rights to all of her songs. $300 million and upward

I know but I don't care. I really like her music but really don't pay attention to the other drama with her.

Does anyone know if my post can get taken down if I put my username in the post itself? I feel like I've seen it before and don't want to get it taken down.

I see. Well I just won't risk it I guess. There is no downside to just commenting it.
