Is it normal to like pokemon (original series) more as an adult?

I'm 19 and completely obsessed with pokemon the original series. i can't stop watching it and thinking about it. everything i read i hear it in the voice of the narator and every time i see an animal i think it is a pokemon. whenever something weird happens near me i feel like i have to solve the mystery to help save the town. I always feel like comparing real things to occurances in pokemon. I can't stop smiling and laughing at these thoughts that has practically taken over my mind. I don't really feel nostalgic but more a new love for pokemon.

    pokemon was such a great game, it made us wonder as little kids, and frankly im starting to miss it...
