My first semester of college was spent at a very conservative Christian university, and I lived in the dorms. There appeared to be a lot of latent homosexuality, but there were also a lot of straight guys who would mess around because the thought of someone actually being gay barely occurred to them.

By "mess around," I just mean I got groped while fully clothed. It seems kind of messed up now, but I was so sexually repressed and self-loathing at the time that it made me feel oddly validated to be humorously molested like a "normal guy."

    My best friend (male) attended an extremely, extremely conservative Christian college (I'm talking bed checks, not being allowed to kiss a woman on campus, the works). It's a very strange environment, to say the least. What you're describing doesn't even sound homoerotic though, it just sounds more like you got a good feeling out of doing something that made you fit in. I really wouldn't beat yourself up over it!

      I wasn't really beating myself up, I was just curious if it's common.

      I went to Lee University. It used to be the campus of Bob Jones University. We had all those rules, and there used to be a prohibition against dancing.

        Yeah, he went to CCC in Florida. I wouldn't say it's normal, but I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of. A lot of stuff about those types of schools is pretty different than the "normal" college experience....buuuut I can't knock a college like that when they turned out my best friend in the universe. Lol

    Religion is what has caused people to be murdered.. Religion says that God has never ending love but if you die w/o 'accepting jesus' then you go to hell for ever and ever with no redo? If god loves you so much, wouldn't he care about letting you try over to get it right? And what about ancient Egypt? There was obviously some advanced technology and power there, why doesn't the forensic evidence from that reflected in the bible? the bible only teaches shame and regret. It doesn't teach respect or responsibility. Why was Enoch deleted from the bible? There is too much bullshit in the bible and religion. The best thing would be to learn every religion in the world and THEN choose what religion is right. Not to be brainwashed since birth.

      There are homosexual christians...christianity does not hate homosexuals...they see it as a sin...and they also see everyone as a sinner not just gays...homosexuals christians are not told God hates them...just that to act on it is a sin....this is not how I think just whatvthey think.

      You have a point there.
      I live in the Mediterranean bay, south of Europe. All this countries over here are very religious, catholic from Rome.
      Also the most moralist and bigger sinners I've have seen.
      They sin during the night, pray for forgiveness in the morning before they go to mass.
      Anyway hypocrite or not things look like they go on wheels this way. At least there isn't any religious more free than Catholic. Eat from everything, less demanding with their sheep's.
      Let's say you can do what ever you want coz God forgives you 2 minutes later without having to go to a Priest asking for it. You ask God. Practical and no queue at the church. Better for the Priest, can relax from the sin's of their sheep's: )
      Anyway if religion is stupid I don't know. I'm pretty sure it can be very messy sometimes...no matter which religion.

    How do you grope someone in a non-sexual way? You mean people would grope you and it wouldn't turn u on, and you'd do it to others without feeling anything in ur hand or inside? Yeah that's kind of off. Usually when there's crotch grabbing one party is getting something out of it.
