Is it normal to like a guy in my class even though i've never talked to him??

There's this guy in my Psychology and Criminal Justice night classes. I first noticed him in my Psychology class and it wasn't 'till weeks later that I noticed he was in my Criminal Justice class. Lol I became very enhusiastic to go to class after that :) Anyway he's so cute. So what first caught my attention on him was his physical features of course, lol but then I noticed he's really smart and has an amazing laugh. He also seems sweet and kind of funny. Also when he laughs I get this weird reaction. Not goosebumps or chills, but when he laughs I get kind of nervous..Like giddy or something. I don't know how to explain it. His smile has the same affect on me. I think I'm starting to really like him. Not in a cheesy way where I think I'm in love with him and dedicate every love song to him or something..haha but I never really get this way though. It's just I see how cute and sweet he is and it makes me kinda nervous.. Lol. Problem is I've never talked to him. Haha isn't that just sad? Two classes with him and I haven't said a word to him. In both classes he sits like a couple seats aways from me..Of course that makes me even more nervous.. Anyway is that normal??--To feel this way about a guy that I've never talked to??
