Is it normal to leave someone since they are not thinking about the future?

Would you break up with someone since they do not think about the future? Like if you have been together since you are younger and when you become adults they are not thinking seriously. Like if you are going to have to move out and get a job and money?

Yes as adults you have to think about it 33

Interesting post had to comment. IMO it is a question about the relationship. Plans can even be guides not concrete. Planning is about taking a moment of time to be practical about available opportunity.

    Bit of insight:

My father will not plan for anything which caused terrible stress growing up. Trust me it only makes you feel better short term.

A lovely young woman I dated was oblivious to this. She told me she loved me and said talking about the future was off limits? It killed the relationship over time. It is a core belief system. No plans = Likely no plan for me either! Foolish me for thinking I could plan for a brighter future.

    My crazy plan:
I plan to attend my kids ball game or dance recital cheering them on. Not sitting at work pulling a double shift having to explain why I missed it. Start young and make informed decisions.

To grow the relationship you must plant the seeds by planning and dreaming together. If you are not planning to be with you are planning to be without. Peace.
