I normally arrange a couple of oranges and a banana, in view of colleagues or on their desk.
No, man.. They took sexual harassment way out of any normal proportion. I've heard of people getting sacked for the most random things cause someone didn't get the joke.
I find it kinda funny, but the comments above are right -you gotta watch out.
I think it's funny but bigguy2010 has a point. Sexual harassment is taken very seriously and you need to be careful that who your joking with shares your amusement for provacative erect fruit.
Next time you should use two giant melons with some kind of nipples. Nobody will get offended by a delicious pair of boobies.
(Plus, in your defense, you could just say that you gave the desk eyeballs.)
I know i have to be carefull, i pushed it too far once, and put a trail of yoghurt "coming" from the banana, and my colleague complained, but usually its all taken in the fun it was intended.
I said that i innocently left the fruit there, played dumb about it, and denied any knowledege of the yoghurt.
Sexual Harassment can get you fired and/or sued. Even if the colleague finds it humorous, a different colleague might see it and be totally offended. Be careful.
