Is it normal to laugh at mean jokes but mean pranks are unbearable to me

I love mean jokes as long as it's directed at either a group of people (racist jokes, religious jokes, gay jokes, political jokes, etc. basically i don't believe in political correctness at all) and if it's directed at a specific person only if that person deserves it (stuck-up people, celebrities, etc.) I love pranks like soundboard prank calls even with curse words and insults in them, fart pranks, scare pranks, etc. and i love trolling people online but i can't watch pranks where they trick people, it makes me extremely upset. when i was little my parents would watch candid camera and I'd have to leave the room cause it would make me cry. IIN?

I hate undeserved humiliation. I don't laugh when someone trips and falls in public, or personal attacks by a bully.

I'm not a fan of practical jokes myself.

It depends on where the person crosses the line and deems whatever prank mean. Some people think scare pranks are mean, and some don't. I think that when the person is legitimately hurt (emotionally or physically) and the effects are long lasting (like humiliation), then that's too much for me.

    So, yes, it's normal.
