Is it normal to kill/hate/hurt smal helpless things

everything from baby ducks and kittens to annoying attention seeking human kids. Mostly when they are whining or seeking attention, I just hate it. Or when they get scared, I just want to attack.

I want to kick, hit, scare, hurt and just be really really mean to them all.

No... not at all. You go to some therapy or something. This is not a good sign. Feeling the need to hurt helpless beings can led to a lot more morbid desires. Get help before it becomes anything of a bigger fantasy.

It's an ape instinct gone haywire. It's "natural" for some to be disgusted by weakness, as when the species struggled for survival, the weak brought down the strong. In the wild, usually only the strongest individuals survive to reproduce.

Women have natural protective urges that usually apply to all except men they're interested in as a mate. To see a man they see as a potential mate cry or show weakness disgusts most women whether they care to admit it or not. It's not a logical emotion, and honestly, one should feel ashamed for giving in to such internal prejudice.

Men, on the other hand, are competitive and combatant by nature. Usually a man will only have protective urges for his mate, which might extend to the entire female gender. Man has destructive urges when it comes to guarding his own "honour" or the mate he feels is his property.

All of this is well and fine, but we're not cavemen anymore. Modern man has logic and choice. We feel the emotions of guilt and shame when we don't choose compassion. In my opinion, it takes more strength of will to be compassionate than to be violent. So in my way of seeing it, people like you are actually disgusted by their own weakness of will and just reflect that disgust on to the physically weak outside of the self. It's easier to deal with negative feelings about others than it is to deal with flaws of the self.

If a man has developed a lot of natural "hatred" for the weak, he should try to deflect these feelings of hatred onto the spiteful and callous among us instead. This will lead to feelings of protection for the weak and a sense of pride of one's own strength and ability to protect the weak and innocent regardless of how little they might contribute to society/mankind.

Kids, who aren't emotionally developed yet, often gang up against those who are "different" or are seen as weak, naturally. Yes, most of our compassion is learned and not inborn. But just because we choose it doesn't mean it's not right. To be human is itself to be compassionate and to care about others and the community and not just look out for the self. When we choose compassion, we choose to be human and we learn to feel sick and guilty when we act selfishly.

So learn to overcome your natural primal urges and be an evolved and compassionate person. Nothing good can come from hating someone who is weak, small, or different, but so much good can come from caring and helping them reach their potentials. Everyone has a place in this world, whether it's apparent to you now or not.

    No.
If you're actually doing that, you should get help.
Fact is, you should not have the urge to hurt ANY being, small or not.

  • I know its not good and that i "shouldnt" in a moral aspekt be thinking it. But there IS alot of people like this, just look at all the animal crulety, child abuse and bullying in the world.

the thing is that I get very very angry when I see someone else doing something like this ("projection" according to Freud).
And doing it to My dog or pet... I would kill them.
