Is it normal to just not care anymore?

I just give up on society as a whole. Everyone has their opinions and are so intolerant if you don't agree with them. I just have no interest in politics, religion, or anything else that someone has an opinion about. I can't even get on facebook without every other post being something negative or some asshole opinion about this and that. Why can't everyone just realize that everyone has their OWN life and they will choose to live it how they want. Who cares if you disagree with it, it doesn't affect your life any.

I even see it on this website too. Someone will say is it normal to feel this way about that.

You get some comment from a user talking about how they must be so stupid for thinking or feeling that way. Why can't it be an intellectual debate? Not you're wrong, I'm right.

It's just really disgusting and petty. Doesn't give me a lot of faith in our future.
