Do you sing "Hurt" while doing this? NIN or Johnny Cash version?

I know how you feel. When you feel very strong emotions and lots of stress and don't know how to deal with it, you hurt yourself because this releases endorphins and calms you down. But it is not a healthy thing to do. At the moment I am trying to stop self harming. But I don't know what else to do when I get in difficult situations. All I can do it sit there and weep to prevent myself from slef harming. If I find a more productive (or at least less self-destructive) method of dealing with high ammounts of stress and emotions I will tell you.
