Is it normal to hoard tons of stuff?

I keep piles of crap everywhere.We have cockroaches everywhere. Which is weird because I thought only poor people have those.It is to the point where no one can walk anywhere in the house without falling over my stuff. Most of it is useless. My stepdaughter hates messes.I don't think my wife likes it either. If my stepdaughter wasn't living there I could store it in her room.My stepdaughter got really mad because she twisted her ankle last week over a car jack I had under a pile of clothes.She went ballistic when I started putting my junk in her room. She threw it all in a pile by the garage.She is the only one who doesn't have cockroaches in her room.She also got mad I kept bugging her when she was talking on the phone to a guy about a job.If it wasn't for me, she would not have a place to stay.
