Is it normal to hear a word as you read it?

Say you're watching tv while reading a book or listening to music while browsing the interweb. Do you ever read the exact words you're hearing at the exact same time you're reading them, by chance? This happens to me quite a bit. Do you think it means anything?

Yeah, it means you're noticing coincidences.

Maybe you're into the same kind of books and tv programmes, so the same story lines come up?

Whenever I read a manga, I read the dialogues in different voices for each character. Normal.

Perhaps if you didn't read aloud, this wouldn't happen so often.

This has happened to me before and it threw me for a loop.
