Is it normal to have your vision suddenly shake side to side late at night?

Occasionally when I watch TV late at night (like 1-2 in the morning) my vision suddenly shakes side to side rapidly. I can fix it by looking at something else or closing my eyes and such, but it sure is wierd.

nyone else have this happen to them?

Happens to me all the time, infact, I can make it happen on my own free will :P

What I think it is, is that your brain wants to 'reboot' after a long day and wants you to go to sleep. TBH I think you're fine adn that you should just go to bed earlier, although I am the last one you should listen when it comes to going to bed early :D

I think it's rapid eye movement, if you've ever heard of it. It usually only happens when you're sleeping, but if you're staying up that late your body could be trying to make yourself dream (everyone goes into a rapid eye movement, and the more that happens in the dream, the more your eyes move). So I would think it would be normal, though it's never happened to me before.
