I have watched a lot of porn on tube sites. Some of that has been amateur/homemade porn, and I have watched a lot of such without always worrying much about whether the people in the videos had authorized or where OK with their sexual acts being watched by some stranger like me.
Is this normal?
I'd say the onus is on the website you watch.
If just one of their vids are seen as illegal then the entire site could be immediately shutdown without warning. Therefore you'd hope they do a little bit of checking.
You can also report certain vids online (some sites have this) and write in that you are unsure if the actors have agreed or not. Again most sites don't like being taken down, so they should check. If unsure the vid would be deleted from their Server ;)
I'm glad for your concern though, because I have seen some pretty physically abusive vids and if at the end I don't see the actors saying all good, then I do wonder too.
I'm not talking about anything physically abusive. I'm talking about their privacy being violated.
An example could be someone who put up a video he had of him and his ex-girlfriend, or someone who put up a video without the approval of the other person who's in the video.
I know, after I submitted the post I re-read your post and thought, hmm I'm slightly off on that, but then I thought well its 'kinda' the same conclusion so I just let it go.
The site has an onus on people giving permission to upload the content. I'm sure they wouldn't do anything bad on purpose IF they knew of someone who didn't know they were being filmed.
There is enough porn without legal issues like that.
If you're dumb enough to film yourself having sex and then put it online expecting privacy, you deserve to have thousands of perverts bust a nut watching you take a banana up the ass.
Only becomes an issue if the other sees it or those that know them. Privacy has faults, as you can upload whatever you like.
