Is it normal to have to touch urethra to pee?

I am a female and the only way I can use the bathroom is to touch my urethra to kind of stimulate the muscles that make me pee. I can feel the need to go but can't force it out without touching. Its been like this for years and years. Even before I had children. I had to have a surgery to stretch my urethra when I was 5 because I was born with a urethra too small to completely empty my bladder. I haven't been to a urologist since then. I never really put much thought into there being a problem with my system until now because having to touch my urethra to pee is very normal for me but I'm beginning to think....in reality....maybe I have a problem. Does anyone else have to do this? Or know why I need to do it.

You might benefit from catheters , ask your doctor.

I am not, by any means, very experienced in matters like this. I've really never heard of something like this though. I would say that as long as it's not causing you other complications, then you should be fine. If you're extremely worried about it though, I would maybe consider going to a professional.
