Is it normal to have to open the shower curtain every time i go in the bathroom

Ok so whenever I go in the bathroom it could be 11:00 pm or 2:30 pm whatever time.I have to open the shower curtain to check nobody or nothing is in there first? Like I could have to brush my teeth so I walk in the bathroom then I open the curtain to check leave the curtain open then go brush my teeth. IIN?!

    I do that too.

    Most of the time there's no one there...

    Yeah my mom used to yell at me for opening the curtain but when I moved out i kept it closed but I still open it

    Lol I used to be like that but that's cuz my bathroom was small and right next to the toilet.

    Ha! When I used to live at home my mom would always say "oh...she was in the bathroom!" because the shower curtain would be open.
    Now when I go back to visit I do the same thing. Mom would like to know when I'll outgrow that habit...

    I use to do that too but then I stopped caring if someone was actually in there aha. Now I can't stand the curtain bring opened
