Is it normal to have this visual when my eyes are closed and i'm going to sleep

Okay so sometimes when I'm trying to go to sleep and my eyes are closed and i'm picturing things in my imagination it kinda turns into one morphing object that quickly changes in size and dimension. Like say I was imagining a person. They would quickly get short and tall and fat and skinny and then wide and tiny. It's really weird i'm not quite sure how to explain it and it only happens randomly. Does anyone have any idea what i'm talking about

Are you talking about hypnagogic hallucinations?

Yes i have that too. I was very intrested in this at first about (4 years ago). This is called closed eye hallucination/ visuals CEV. The one i get is 3D landscape, trees, mountains...with some rotation in the picture..like slow mo movie. Its like you are seeing things from an airoplane. I have had this for some years now and can reverse the the «movie» and watch it again of i liked the picture very much, cus the picture change very fast. Yiu can control it to some degree but not that much. Hope this helps :-)

Hey that's a really good description and similar to what I occasionally experience, that I'm slowly moving through a shadowy landscape with trees and mountains, along a winding road. It's quite interesting but I can't summon it up when I want to and I usually fall asleep watching it behind my closed eyes.

Yeah that kinda sounds like what I have, I can kinda control it but it goes away if I think about it too hard. Not really sure what you mean about seeing it as a movie and being able to replay it though lol

There is a motion in the picture and you can zoom the picture in and out. While i sometime do see this when i am falling asleep, but i can also see it when i,m not falling asleep. If i close my eyes while sitting on a chair and just wait about 10-15 minutes i will begin to see it. But i have to say that i,m almost always sleep deprived and sometimes sensory deprived as well.
