Ok. So this is my husband's thumb. He's been having this bump since... last month. For some odd reason he put band-aid over it and the tip of the bump slightly came off. He also claims that it's painful too. Is this normal or should we get it checked out?
Is it underneath his skin or on top of his skin? I'm not referring to the part that came off.
If it were a wart, there should be some dots. These dots indicate blood vessels.
Does it have pus? The part that came off, was a liquid ejected?
I really think that he should see a doctor.
For some odd reason, I thought that I posted a pic? I'm not sure. Anyways, we thought it was a wart so we bought the little freeze away wart from Wal-Mart.
Apparently nothing happened and since it bothers him at work, he put a band-aid over it. Once he took out his band-aid, the top layered skin came off.
When you look at it now, there are a few tiny holes/dots in that bump. & the bump is on top of his skin. There were also no pus or liquid ejection. We're still trying to figure out if it's a wart or not. We haven't seen a doctor yet only because we just barely moved into a new town and haven't been able to select a dr yet.
