Is it normal to have sexual feelings for your best friend?

So I'm a girl and so is my best friend, and were both straight, but EVERYTIME she comes over I start having sexual thoughts about her and I want to do things that I would never have considered doing. Were very close and I don't know if I should act of these thoughts or not. Any advice would be appreciated...

Yes its normal, dont act on it unless you are sure you are ok with the consequence (possibly losing her as a friend.

I guess it's normal, but if you're sexually attracted to her you're not so straight after all(She may be the one exception to your attraction, but even so, it's still considered bisexual). If it's only sexual feelings, don't hurt her like that, keep it to yourself.

If you have any other warm and fuzzy feelings and think about spending a life with her, think long and hard about your feelings and tell her once your sure.

Other than that, be respectful and don't be a creep.

(I know this response is really late, but just in case anyone was looking at this for their own dilemma, here you go)

Seriously, I kind of get to know my girlfriends, and because of that, I sometimes feel something more, for some. It hasn't ever turned out well, but that's different, guys and girls.

I know a lot of girls that say that they are 'bi' but only when they are really drunk, and don't have boyfriends.

Just confronting her isn't a good approach, because if she is insecure, and her family isn't accepting of 'alternate sexual preferences' she will totally deny it, and maybe embarrass you, to 'save' herself.

It shouldn't be so complicated, and maybe, in a generation, or two, people can just say, "I like you, do you like me?" and just get together.

What I have heard from friends in your place is that the best way is to just casually show your feelings for her. Maybe a casual contact, a touch, a casual caress, watching her response. All stuff you could just play off as 'friendly contact'.

Maybe invite her over for dinner, and make the meal, together. Food is a aphrodisiac, in itself!! Working in the kitchen, close, you can casually touch her, and 'accidentally, be super-close!! Share a bottle of wine when you cook, and then another over dinner.

If she is at all interested, and you 'encourage' her, enough, she will be yours!

If she isn't into you, then you can always say it was the wine, and being a little drunk, to save your pride!

Thankyou for your lovely long answer, but that's not exactly what I meant. I don't want to date her, I just want to do sexual things to her.
