My best guy friend and I are incredibly close. We met four years ago. He's always there for me, and I'm always there for him no matter what it is. We're both virgins, although not inexperienced. There's definitely chemistry, although we don't have romantic feelings. We were talking and both said that all we wanted in our first time was to be with someone we trusted.

I always thought that my first time would be with someone I was dating, but considering I have intimacy issues, this could be a good way to get used to it.

It's really tempting, I'm not sure what to do or think though.

    I say do it! Honestly, from a woman's perspective- the first time is always terrible and not incredibly sexual. It is better to be with someone you trust and feel safe with, and who can take it appropriately slow. Just make sure you discuss all of the relevant issues before you do the deed- ie what does this mean for our friendship, safe sex, etc etc

    The first time sucks anyways. Make sure he wears a condom though because if it's his first time too it's unlikely that he'll last long and he won't know when to pull out. If you have intimacy issues though I'm not really sure this is a good idea.

    Most people on this site have sex without love. Some have sex with pets. Although I think there is some love involved.

    First time isn't that special anyway, just nervous and painful (Woman's perspective) Since you are both virgins you wont get an STD from one another either.

    I have had sex with plenty of people that I didn't love. Actually I have had sex with EVERYONE I have dated before I loved them xD
