Is it normal to have imaginary butlers at 20's

I am a grown up but I occasionally keep thinking about my imaginary butlers lately. My imaginary butlers are all males wearing the same butler uniforms with the heads of animals. They have human bodies but individually have the head of a spyhnx cat, a crow, a black goat and a snake with beautiful, glowing red eyes that can magnificently illuminate a pitch black room. They're friendly, loyal and cute!!!

I am not losing my touch with reality or something dangerous like that but it makes me so happy and comfortable imagining the idea of having imaginary butlers serving me with undying loyalty. I also imagine them singing me a lullaby and accompany me when I've a hard time sleeping.

This is pretty cool honestly. I like how you went for a selection of sophisticated animals.

I think adult daydreaming is much more normal than most people claim it to be.

  And I truly wish there are more people like you who see daydreaming and imagination in a new light rather than peculiarity and worse, retardation. I know I get that a lot. :-)

    I wouldn’t call them friends but I have a few re-occurring imaginary characters who float into my thoughts a lot.
    
    I think building characters and wondering how they would respond to different situations and issues has actually has actually opened my eyes to different arguments and world views.
    
    Basically I think daydreaming can be good for people so long as they don’t become addicted to it.

  Thank you! That's assuring. Just checked this Beastars anime you mentioned about. They look almost exactly how I picture my imaginary butlers with the only differences are they're butlers with glowing red eyes. Also, thanks for unintentionally recommending me a new anime to check out!

  It's great you feel that way and indulge yourself with your imagination about your favourite characters. That means we may be able to understand each other. Imagining stuff is fun but I sure as hell can't tell people about mine in real life without getting labelled crazy, lol.

      I do it but only when I am by myself or feel unhappy about something. It makes me feel better and relaxed. Planning to express the thought of me being with the imaginary butlers through drawing too. Just curious if it's normal or unhealthy for an adult to do something as childish as this.
