Is it normal to have had a life changing dream?

I had a dream about a year ago that totally changed my perspective on some things, it was beautiful, loving, and surreal, it was a narrated story and told in lyric poetry. When I woke up I was crying and felt so much love all around me. Have you ever experienced something like this?

    I had one about 8 years ago that I'm actually still interpreting and I'll never forget it. It was more profound and mysterious than it was loving though.

    Dreams are believed to be your subconscious telling you things or sending you messages. Yours must have been a nice message.
