Is it normal to have dead skin in mouth?

I constantly have dead skin shedding in my mouth. All I can really do is let it sit -which gets
uncomfortable and non hygienic- or scoop it out with my index finger, like a makeshift shovel.

The skin is dead, so it’s white, but it’s also wet, so it kind of looks like a glob of lotion or something. some bits are drier than others however.

I have so much dead skin that digging it out has become an obsession, and sometimes i dig cuts into my cheeks by accident. I am NOT trying to self harm, just clean it.

I’ve been like this my whole life, but lately it’s getting worse. Never heard of anything like this before, and can’t find any info. It’s a bit embarrassing to deal with irl, any help would be nice.

(Also yes, I brush my teeth well twice a day, floss, etc. My mouth is otherwise very healthy.)

You might need to go to the doctor about that. I only have dead skin on my lips, not inside my mouth.

This sounds quite serious. Not that I know enough about medicine to be able to judge. But I've never heard of it before. Go to your doctor's.
