Is it normal to have bad trip caused by weed?

hi, usually, i smoke 2-3 times a week for half a year, but one week ago, it was my first time smoking with hot knifes, i done like 25 hits, and then, i smoked a joint, and then , ive been soooooo fucking high, i was in a appartement, i started to freak as fuck, so i run to the door, grab my shoes and my stuff and then i went outside, i was stressing my ass off, my heart was at 190/min, no jokes, and i was walking like if i was drunk, and i was thinking about 1000 things at the same time, and there was a big building and i was sure that it was falling on me, so i walked maybe 45 min for where i was to my house, and when i was in my house, i was watching TV and in 2 hours, i calmed myself, then i went to the computer, and i was high as fuck at midnight, then i went to my bed at 00:45, high as fuck, and then the next day, i had a weed hangover and i was stressed for 2-3 hours the next morning and my hangover lasted one day, i sleep from 00:45 to 7 am, thats normal i had one weed hangover, and now, im pretty normal, i was tired for the whole week long, and now im a bit scared to smoke again, if i'll not be scared in few days, should i smoke again?

    Try smoking less?

  • You didn't have a bad trip caused by weed...

You had a bad trip because you made a bad decision to use weed in an excessive way.

It's not a trip but a lot of people can have bad experiences with weed even regular smokers.

I smoked twice a day for a year and a half, until one day after smoking a joint i got a superfast heartbeat (could feel it pumping hard), couldn't stop walking around, starting thinking about a bunch of things which got me really scared, tried to get my friends to call 911 because i thought i was having a heart attack. Ever since then I havent been able to blaze without that happening. I have since quit (1 year ago) and have developed an anxiety problem which i now need medication for.

stop. blazing was the funnest thing of my life, but you know if its not making you feel good anymore wtf is the point. You will lose your blazing buddies most likely, thats what happend to me :(

    Good luck.

I had a similar experience. I quit weed since then, but it took about 5 months to go fully without it.

You know, it's funny, we have bad experiences that (for me) haunted my life and made me feel like I was 1 second away from death. and we both ask ourselves, should I smoke again....? It took 1.5 more times (the second time was only half as scary/bad, hence the .5) for me to be like, well fuck, why do I put myself in these situations? I'm going to make an executive decision here and just straight up STOP.
