Is it normal to have an age complex in relationships?

For example I feel like I can't date a woman older than me because she will just see me as an immature child and I will feel helpless to defend myself against her using me in ways I cannot understand, or a woman who is as old as me because she will always compare me to other guys in my age group and I will feel insecure that I simply don't measure up, or a woman younger than me because I will feel like a pervert and that would be predatory behavior and taking advantage of her.

    Start seeing all women as immature children and you'll be fine.

    I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 22 and my ideal woman would be about 25, but I'm so afraid that no woman would date a younger guy. I also have the same feeling. Even women who are 20 or 21 make me feel awkward to be around for that reason.

    I felt the same way at first but when my girlfriend turned 12 she actually surprised me by how mature she became
