Is it normal to have a hidden bunker, with cctv of the whole neighbourhood?
I live alone, in a house that I had built. The house itself is very modern, clean, minimal etc. and is of a fairly unique design. One of the most striking aspects of the design (that I had to creep through all sorts of loopholes to achieve)is the hidden bunker under the house.
The bunker doesn't appear on any of the plans of the house, and legally speaking, doesn't exist. The entrance is hidden behind a bookcase, which is mounted in the middle of 14 other bookcases, in my personal library. The bunker is powered by its own separate power system, using solar panels, and earth-based heating, and is air-tight, using an air filtration system.
The bunker is large enough to store a couple of years worth of (tinned) food, and has it's own shower room, water supply, waste disposal and bedding, as well as an entertainment system.
And my personal favourite; a series of rack-mounted and freestanding infrastructure servers, complete with a 3x3 multi display setup. These servers are connected to the internet, but can easily be physically cut off from the outside world.
The servers are also connected to a series of wireless CCTV cameras that I have (hidden) all over the local neighborhood (Along with a few unsecured CCTV cameras). Each one is powered using high-gain solar panels, ensure 24/7 access.
While I have a normal bedroom in the house, I find that I normally sleep in the bunker, otherwise I simply can't sleep. I feel so much safer in there, behind the two meters of lead-lined concrete and stainless steel door.
Am I normal?
