Of course it isn't. She was probably with you for the wrong reasons....maybe you showered her with gifts/money. Maybe she just used that as an excuse because the whole time she was really seeing someone else....at least she's being half honest with you in telling you that she felt nothing towards you. yep, mononator is probably right. or she could have been telling the truth, which is also normal in a way - because she was with you for so long, maybe she was just "waiting it out" to see if she would reacquire those feelings she used to have for you. maybe she was too afraid to break up with you because she didn't want to make a major change in her life. sometimes it's easier to lie, but good god she shouldn't have done that, because it just ends up hurting everyone involved in the end.

Then when she says, "I don't have a sister."
You should respond with, "Well, check back in about 5 months."

She could be lying about it. She could be saying that to make you angry and sad. Maybe she tried to make it work but just did not end up happening. Did something bad happen that you didn't mention for her to say that? I think saying it's because her mom always cheated on her dad is an excuse. People should know better. I can tell you she was definitely lying. I know many girls who will say that to an ex (I'm also guilty of it) just to hurt their feelings and make themselves feel better. Is it right? No. But she definitely was hurt, and she probably is trying to convince herself that she didn't care.

Well I've been in a relationship where I didn't feel attracted to the guy so it can happen I was in the beginning then somehow. Overbite I wake up and am like why am I dating.
