Is it normal to have a gf over 40 years older

I'm an 18-year old girl in a relationship with a 61-year old woman. She has a granddaughter that's older than me & she's way older than my mom. When we're intimate, she says that I excite her more than anyone has in years. She makes me feel special.

    Given the prevalence of dubious content and blatant falsehood on here, finn's scepticism is understandable - but then, so is fluffy1uv's cautionary response to it in this case.

    Personally, I want to believe it's genuine, if only for the delightfully upbeat and positive perspective it inspired in Ellenna's posts. The other thing that gives it credence is the lack of any crude, descriptive language which is often the hallmark of so many, 'Ooh, this'll shock 'em!' fabrications.

    I think we can all appreciate how a 61 year old woman might find the amorous attentions of an 18 year old girl exciting. I just hope I'm right in assuming that, whilst this lady makes you feel 'special', you also find it exciting, too.

        I don't lay any claim to the definitive view, I just throw in my two cents and hope that, between us, there's something for the OP to work with. As you know, many posts take the form of pithy one liners which are of no constructive use whatsoever. But, as long as there's no offensive intent then those, too, should be appreciated, if only for the sometimes priceless entertainment value they provide - at least, they often entertain me.

        On a forum which is essentially 'self regulating' (yeah, right!), you're aware from the get go that you'd better have a thick skin if you want to join this party. The important thing is not to get drawn into a rock throwing, thread jack. Not only is it tedious and unpleasant for everyone else but it's disrespectful to the OP who just wants answers with maybe a little fun along the way, where the subject allows for it.

        No matter how much I might disagree with a poster I'd never use whatever limited intellect I may have to intentionally make them feel bad. I'm here to enjoy the experience and figure most others are, too - and if we can generate a little bonhomie between us along the way, I'd say that was a good thing.

        Henry James once famously said, 'Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. And the third is to be kind.' I know it's not always that simple, particularly on a forum which allows for such a broad canvas of often polarised and forthright views.

        But if it's a choice between 'negative intellectualism' and a tangible sense of collective camaraderie, with a little sarcasm and crude wit thrown in to feed the conviviality, then give me the fun, the hugs and the handshakes every time.

        Maybe now you'll understand why your post is so valued. My instinctive optimism makes me want to believe your parting shot is true. For all their indefensible ramblings, my posts have no more value than the one liners that often use far less to say much more - I should learn from them.

        Apologies to all for yet another wall of text. I'm working on getting my contributions down to a couple of paragraphs by the New Year - but don't hold me to that.

      "Not meant" by whom? Why begrudge them their happiness and if her family find it weird that's their problem.
