Is it normal to have a friend dream of you and them doing sexual things?

Um so this just happened a few minutes ago and id really appreciate your guy's opinion on this. I have been friends with this guy for a little over 8 months now (I'm a girl, bisexual- trust me it's relevant) and I told him I liked him about 4 months ago. Well he got a gf maybe a day or so after I told him (we go to different schools) and it's been 4 months since. We text pretty much everyday and whenever he screws up I always tell him to take care of his gf and to do the right thing (I.e. Apologize and whatnot). Basically I cheer the guy I like on with his relationship. Idk why I do it, but I just do. And today he texted me saying he had a weird dream. That me and him were doing sexual things. He said it's alright because it was just a dream, but dreams are expressions of our inner desires no? So yeah. That's the conflict. Should I start texting him less? I don't want to ruin his relationship with his gf. She needs him more than I do. Or should I just continue on with my buddy-buddy relationship with him? Please help
