Is it normal to have a crush on a fastfood worker

I have a massive crush on a fastfood worker. For this reason I go there every week on Saturday. Lately I believe she "recognised" me so I decided to only go every 2 weeks to avoid looking like I have no life which is indeed the case. Every now and then I'd say bye to her when I leave or talk very shortly. This way I know she is Assyrian. I'm way too shy to continue the conversation or generate attraction as pua's would say, so after I talk briefly I eject politely.
Also I'm much older than her. I'm in my thirties and she must be about 22.
Is this normal and what can I do to approach her properly?

      Often they study in college and do this to fund their studies. I know at least one other girl there who does. Am not sure about my target though.

        So creepy it just might work! But seriously, I think you just need to get 'in the zone' if you know what I mean, when you're feeling really good and confident etc. This is something that I think works pretty well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk_bbhMyQSU ...that video is not the best explanation but it's called an NLP swish pattern. It's just a visualisation/feeling thing that can put you in a really good state of mind. Anyway, good luck... there's nothing worse than walking away thinking, damn I should have asked her out.
