Is it normal to have a burning rage locked up inside yourself?

This is something that I've started noticing, the last two years. Basically whenever i feel angry, it suddenly feels like a roaring fire, starts to burn inside me, but i always just put the feeling aside. Sometimes it's so hard to contain, and i feel like i might murder someone if i one day snap. Its also been years since I've last cried, which is because i just lock up those sad feelings aswell.

Now is it normal to have this much rage inside of you?

I use to feel like that. I would get in a fight at least once a month. Then it occurred to me I didn't give a damn about most people. Now they are just people with no meaning to me. I treat people with respect and expect the same. They only get one chance. Then if they screw up they are out of my life.
    I was never a crier.

It is fine to be angry and let it out...moderately. Not lash out or be violent. That can be learned through anger management training.
Feeling like you do is possibly because you keep in your emotions until they burst into flame. If you don't have someone who cares enough to listen to your feelings, call a helpline or even a suicide line. Here it is 800 273-HELP.
